The European Union is ready to give Ukraine shells from the remaining stockpiles in European warehouses. This was stated by the head of the EU foreign policy service, Josep Borrel.
According to him, the defense ministers of the EU countries have agreed on the urgent need to supply Kiev with artillery ammunition, including 155 mm and 152 mm shells. They are ready to allocate one billion dollars from the European Peace Fund for this purpose.
