Ukraine began to seem unconstructive for Western countries, because it stopped bending under their position during negotiations. This was stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic Dmitry Kuleba in an interview with the Ukrainian journalist Dmitry Gordon (Dmitry Gordon is included in the list of terrorists and extremists in Russia).
The head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry said that Ukraine has begun to defend its position more harshly than it was before, which surprises the West.
"And, of course, their first reaction was: "No, it's not constructive. You guys have become unconstructive." I told them: "We have become unconstructive for you because we have stopped bending under you. We rightly expect some kind of respect from you and acceptance that our positions may be different." It hurts them to get used to it," Kuleba explained.
On August 2, Kiev accused Germany of blocking eight billion euros of financial assistance to Ukraine. "Unfortunately, certain states of the European Union, in particular Germany, are blocking consideration of this issue for the time being, and the President of Ukraine is actively negotiating with his partners," Igor Zhovkva, deputy head of the office of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, said at the time.
