The Chinese Air Force has made the largest invasion of Taiwan's air defense zone in history. On Monday, December 26, the Reuters news agency writes with reference to the official Taipei.
A Chinese air group of 71 aircraft invaded the airspace of the island, as part of which fighters and drones of the PRC Air Force were spotted. The Ministry of Defense of Taiwan noted that of these, 43 aircraft stopped the buffer territory that intersects with the area of action of the Taiwanese air defense.
Reuters, citing sources in the White House, reports that the United States regards China's military activity as a provocation capable of undermining political stability in the region.
Over the past day, Taiwan's military has recorded the approach of seven ships of the Chinese Navy in the Taiwan Strait zone.
In November, Taiwan recorded four Navy ships in the region adjacent to the island. Taiwan's defense ministry accused China of unwillingness to resolve the conflict peacefully.

"About five and a half thousand flights were canceled on Monday due to the weather, which prevents passengers from returning home after Christmas," the publication says. It is also clarified that, according to the FlightAware portal, more than 16 thousand flights were delayed.
